THE BEACH
Our Villas are 300m (5 minutes) walk through the trees to the beautiful 7km long beach where we have a private area with hammocks, sunbeds, shade structures, umbrellas and beach attendant. Our staff clean a 100m stretch of the beach daily, so we enjoy the cleanest part of Marari Beach. You won’t have to fight for sunbeds here as you only share the beach with the crabs, birds, occasional dolphins, fishermen and the kids playing football or cricket at sunset.
THINGS TO DO
Immerse in the liberating luxury of a private pool, have a private cooking class with the chef or if you’ve got itchy feet, go for a long walk on the beach. Once you are back to the villa, the chef will serve you delicious food and drinks ‘al fresco’ in the garden.
TESTIMONIALS
Hibiscus Villa was charming with a delightful enclosed and private garden. The swimming pool was great: described as a plunge pool it was long enough for a few strokes. But if you want to go to the beach they will bring loungers, umbrellas etc and set them up for you.
The food was among the best we had in Kerala or Tamil Nadu, with a daily menu, plenty of choice and cooked fresh to order so could be tailor made to suit. Every trip we wanted to do was fixed up promptly by the team with helpful local taxi and tuk-tuk drivers. We really felt we were interacting with local people in a way you don’t get, for example, in a Taj, walking along to the ATM, chatting to the schoolchildren, but coming back to comfort and great service.”
“We wanted to have an absolutely relaxed holiday and that’s exactly what we got! There are 2 operational villas at the moment. We stayed in hibiscus. The villas are like a home away from home. Olga the owner has thought of everything you might need in the room, from torches, Odomos, a large collection of books, scrabble to an Amazon stick.
The villa has a lovely pool with sun beds and a hammock, it’s own private dining area and a garden. The staff is excellent very polite and efficient. The chef prepared delicious meals both Indian and continental. George the manager was very helpful and super-efficient.”
The villa hibiscus is quite stunning and furnished in a traditional style. The bathroom is very outstanding as you can watch the sky while taking a shower. You really feel welcome and there is a cook and a “butler” just for your own needs.
Everything was clean and you can feel the love the owners put in this wonderful place. The beach was very clean and you can go there for a long walk or just relax and watch the sunset. We had a very relaxing stay and highly recommend this outstanding place.”
“Go for long walks on the beach and spot playful dolphins from the shore. This is the stuff vacations are made of”
